@Jordan: He’ll be the first to tell you not to put 100% of your portfolio into fundamental index funds (or any one strategy or product for that matter). All you can glean from the article is that he has boosted his own holdings in certain types of bonds, can’t really ascertain anything about his FI holdings or allocations. But, on somewhat of a side note, Arnott and Research Affiliates are well known for their asset allocation strategies – if I remember correctly, he is the only sub-advisor to PIMCO and runs an all asset fund for them with 16 asset classes.

That’s very interest that Rob Arnott is suggesting bonds and not his Fundamental Index funds, could you hazard an reason why?
