@Money Energy: my best friend is an aerospace engineer and his stories and insights into the industry are just mind bogglingly cool. (that’s a word)

@Million Dollar Journey: I think it is the Kai Tak airport in Hong Kong. The manoeuvre to land at this runway is actually called the “Hong Kong Turn” because it was so infamous. 47 degree right turn at the last minute and crosswinds were common. I don’t know if they still use that airport though.
